~FGE Terms of Service~
1. No excessive language will be permitted. Light use in most circumstances is fine, but please keep it minimal. At no time will it be acceptable to use such language to harass or belittle another member of any entity connected with FGE (including, but not limited too, the forums and the game).
2. Do not ask to be on staff. This is a privilege that you will be chosen for if/when there is a need and we see someone fit for the job.
3. Please use original names -ONLY-. In other words...do not name your character/forum account "Paris Hilton" or anything of that sort. This includes characters from anime (yes, Dot Hack as well).
4. Any player is allowed to role-play as they see fit as long as it isn't vulgar or offensive, and does not consist of breaking any of the other rules. However, please refrain from role-playing any popular storyline such as bleach, naruto, etc.
5. It is your responsibility to report any bug/exploit/problem you encounter to either Varinyc or a staff member. Do not tell anyone else of this in the case of an exploit so that we may limit any further damage.
6. Using any software, scripts, or modified clients is prohibited and will lead to permanent banishment from all FGE entities. This includes anything that may give you an unfair advantage over other players.
8. Harassment will -NOT- be tolerated, by players or staff, on the forum, in-game, or anywhere else. If a player is harassing someone, please contact staff. If staff is harassing someone, please contact Varinyc. This includes, but is not limited to, player using glitches or hacks against anyone else, Staff warping players, Players attacking staff and vice-verse.
9. Staff may -NEVER- give any item to any player for any reason. If compensation is to be made for a loss, that will be up to Varinyc to decide the outcome of. Any Staff members found guilty of this will immediately lose their position and may be completely removed from the system.
Anything listed here can and will be met with a strict punishment. Warnings are not required, do not expect them.
The terms of service are fluid and may change at anytime. If changes are made, a reply to this post will be made to bring attention so you can review it.
Not everything is listed here, simply because mistakes are made. These are the most severe that I can currently think of. If you are unsure of something being allowed or not, please feel free to ask. That is what our staff is here for and they will be glad to help.
